From our vast experience of this activity we have firsthand knowledge on how best to treat many running related injuries and get runners back to what they love doing – running!
We have a close relationship with several running clubs and offer discounted prices to these clubs.
Following assessment of the injury we put together a treatment and rehabilitation programme tailored to each individual. We provide lots of “extras” with regard to prevention of injuries and exercises to make you stronger and a better runner.
Debbie Matchett, owner of PhysioWorksNI is a member of Ballydrain Harriers and has been a competitive runner for many years. She has represented N.Ireland on several occasions at X-country and competes at a high level at 5k and 10k.
I really enjoy seeing runners come to our clinic as I know they are going to get the best treatment possible. I have had injuries myself over the years and I know how devastating it can be, not to be able to run. I can’t stress enough the importance of getting the right advice and treatment to get you back to full running fitness. I love to see runners getting back from injury, stronger and with more insight as to how they can prevent further injuries in the future. The most common injuries we see at PhysioWorksNI are related to the hip, knee, lower leg and foot.
