I have fibromyalgia and I was told to try Yin Yoga which involves slow stretching of the connective tissue. During the class, Debbie explained and demonstrated each yoga pose and she ensured I was getting maximum benefit from holding each position.
Following the Yin Yoga class, I slept remarkably well and the next morning, woke without the usual connective tissue spasms. Early mornings are normally very painful for me, so I was delighted to feel so well.
The class itself was calming and enjoyable with the time passing very quickly. Throughout, Debbie was positive and encouraging. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and particularly to fibromyalgia sufferers.
